The Global Village Sales Office in Dubai interlinks an impressive as well as self-evident symbol with the world: a globe with a diameter of approximately 34m which is tilted to 23.44° in order to resemble the axis of the Earth.

The load carrying construction is upheld by a steel cable structure in an especially filigree and transparent fashion – cosmopolitanism is accentuated here also. The glass elements are featured with a blue interlayer, whereas the continents are embodied by a white enamel grid.

There is a total of approximately 1,860m²  of complex glass area; the logistics and construction were as challenging as the design: after all, every globe segment solely fits into its own specified space. The largest glass pane dimensions are an impressive 2,900 x 2,400mm.

The ball-shaped building is connected to the roof and the intermediate floors of the sales and office complex. Inside, the individual floor elements are connected by a spiral bridge with viewing platforms.
